A new review "explores how healthcare simulations have been used to identify and address LSTs (latent safety threats), with particular attention to the visibility and application of systems theory in study design, implementation, and analysis."

This new review, whose co-authors include multiple members of the OxSTaR team, explores the literature around the use of simulation in identifying and addressing LSTs.

This extensive research investigates the application of systems theory, how LSTs are addressed, and goes on to discuss the implications of their findings therein.
