Introduction

Supporting parents to care for children with medical complexity

Families are doing complex healthcare procedures at home (e.g. feeding tubes and ventilation). OxSTaR, in collaboration with Helen and Douglas House, our affiliate Alex Lee and Alison Sharrard from the Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust, Professor Charles Vincent and Bethan Page from the University of Oxford's department for Experimental Psychology and with support from the Health Foundation's Q Exchange funding programme, will undertake a project to pilot and spread ways to train parents and carers of children with medical complexity. parent-child-hands
