Skills & simulation for returning GP's

Location:  Stoke Mandeville Simulation Centre

Date: Thursday 5th December 2024 - Virtual only day

Time: 08:30-17:00. The day maybe shorter if attendee numbers are low.

The GP RTT day is designed for GP trainees returning to clinical practice, both in the hospital and the practice setting. It is an informal day in which we encourage trainees to network, ask questions and plan their return to work. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak to TPDs and trainees who have previously taken time out. We will re-familiarise attendees with the GP curriculum and ARCP requirements. Additionally, we will cover aspects of women's and child health in a relaxed atmosphere; these sessions will be lead by specialty registrars and will involve small group discussions and the use of mannequins if required. We are flexible with our timetable so if you are interested in attending and there is anything you would specifically like to cover please do get in touch! For more information about the course please email england.srtt.tv@nhs.net

This is a hybrid course

We are unable to provide our free crèche facility at this current time, but we can offer a reimbursement up to £50 for a day of care in the child’s usual setting (on a day they wouldn’t normally attend)

Location: Wessex GP Virtual module

Date: New date to be confirmed

Time: TBC

The Wessex GP virtual RTT day covers eportfolio, coaching sessions, peer support/networking, consultation skills and topic updates. To book contact  england.supportt.wx@nhs.net

We would recommend you attend both modules (Stoke Mandeville & Wessex)
