What does your service and team look like?

Where does your team fit with other teams?

This course explores how experiences and shared perspectives shape the way healthcare teams understand their roles, relationships, and impact on patient care. Through practical discussion, reflection, and collaborative activities, participants will examine what effective teams look like, how different services connect, and how communication and shared goals influence team performance. Using real-world scenarios and visual mapping techniques, learners will explore the dynamics within their own teams, identify key challenges, and develop a deeper understanding of how people work together across diverse healthcare settings.

Facilitated by a Clinical Psychologist, this course is designed for multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, the course focuses on building safe, effective, and high-performing teams that can adapt and grow in complex environments. Participants will explore team development, accountability, leadership, and strategies for overcoming common barriers to effective working. By the end of the course, learners will leave with practical tools to strengthen collaboration, improve team effectiveness, and support safer outcomes for patients, colleagues, and services.
