Location: OxSTaR -Oxford University Hospital

Date:  Friday 14th February 2025

Time: 0900-16:30 

This will be a full day hosted at OXSTAR and will be open to trainees across HEETV/Wessex who return outside the August cohort. The module will focus on practical skills needed in foundation jobs including catheters, blood taking, ABGs and cannulation. This will be followed by an interactive simulation session . All of this will be provided in a friendly supportive environment with absolutely no assessment and the opportunity to address your specific questions/worries throughout the day. Coffee and lunch will be provided free of charge throughout the workshop.

We are unable to provide our free crèche facility at this current time, but we can offer a reimbursement up to £50 for a day of care in the child’s usual setting (on a day they wouldn’t normally attend). Babies are permitted to attend if the above option is not suitable
