Yesterday Deputy Director of Medical Education Dr Claire Pulford and former Emergency Department Consultant Dr Grizelda Graham cut the ribbon to open a brand new simulation suite at the Horton General Hospital. This suite, housed in the Terence Mortimer Education centre, was developed as a collaboration between OxSTaR, the Horton Education Centre and the Oxford University Hospital Trust. We are very grateful to the generous donation for the AV kit provided by the Nuffield Oxford Hospital Fund. We will now be able to offer the same high quality simulation training to teams of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals on the Horton site as we do at the John Radcliffe This suite will be manned regularly by OxSTaR in the New Year and we look forward to inducting our newest technician, Helen Rhodes.
