Gold Standard Training for Trauma Team Leaders

On the 28th August, OxSTaR in conjunction with Syed Masud and OxTRAUMA, ran a day of simulation based scenarios looking at the behavioural understanding and complexities of leading trauma teams during a wide range of emergencies. This course looked at the human factors involved in these events and focused on the solutions to creating and running highly efficient and well structured teams. Dr Masud has a great deal of experience leading trauma teams and he works closely training and developing HEMs teams to improve their ability to respond to emergencies effectively.

This was the second part of the course, previously the candidates had been looking at the theories behind leading trauma care.
